I really can't encourage safe and responsible celebration enough this week. All it takes is one mishap to ruin a fun event, so please take care of yourself, Chicago. And, as always, be kind to people around you. There's going to be a lot of crowds and lines, but if you keep the right attitude about it, then it won't feel like a hassle.

Currently, I am working on putting together a charity gala to benefit Chile and Haiti relief efforts. The lives lost and damage done by those two natural disasters left pieces that we need to help pick up. The night will consist of a live and silent auction of various international artwork, live music and a full course meal. It will be an exclusive event, so please RSVP.

Find a date. Someone brainless, but not chatty. Jennifer from the Christmas party was too controversial for the usual crowd despite the delightful fuck at the end of the night. Consider woman who gave her number at cocktail party. Mary? Marge? Macy?
Live music must be droll, but danceable to those who have had a couple drinks. Smooth jazz is likely the best option.
No fish this time. God, that was awful. No vegetarian option, either. We can't cater to liberal Peta-fascists.
